CNC Milling Setter Operator Programmer

Are you a skilled CNC Miller who is fully conversant Setting and Programming 3 & 5 axis machining centres using VISI software and have a good working knowledge of Mazatrol Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls?
Live within less than an hour from Birmingham? (the job is in the North Birmingham area near to the Birmingham hospital and the Jewellery Quarter)

We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to work are a small, professional precision engineering company which is part of a worldwide engineering group - so you have all the benefits of working in a small team but all the support is available from the group.

This is a permanent position.

The engineers are nice and skilled and the manager has a good, flexible attitude.

Hours are Days - 8.00 -16.30 Monday to Thursday 8.00-15.30 Friday
Salary £18.00 - £19.00 per Hour - depending on experience.

Regular overtime is available - 1.5 hourly rate.

They have their own parking - free tea & coffee and it is working in a nice clean environment. The equipment is all modern - the work is very interesting.

The company are looking for someone with experience of both online and offline programming using VISI software.
This is an essential requirement.

Setting and operating 3 & 5 axis machining centres with a good working knowledge of Mazatrol Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls is also required.

The company take on all sorts of work for the group - a lot of it is low volume - bespoke work. You will need to be an experienced engineer and able to produce one offs working to tight tolerances. Making fixtures or jigs is part of the job and you will need to have a good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds etc.

No doubt you will also have a good understanding of manual machines.
